Hands-on software engineering experience building and shipping production integrations (APIs, webhooks, SDKs, distributed services) with strong debugging depth.
Technical leadership experience (tech lead, lead engineer, TLM or EM with strong IC output), including code reviews, mentorship, and driving delivery through ambiguity.
Experience collaborating with external partners/customers in a technical capacity (partner engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, developer relations, or similar).
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with restaurant systems (POS, KDS, OMS, menu/catalog sync, payment flows, delivery aggregation/middleware) and their real-world constraints.
Proven “player-coach” track record: leading a small team while staying deeply in the code and owning critical deliverables end-to-end.
Strong systems design instincts around reliability, observability, and scalability (SLOs, error budgets, monitoring, incident response patterns).
