BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Knowledge and experience building machine learning applications are a big plus.
12+ years of experience as an engineering manager, leading teams that built complex applications. Ability to balance the advantages of each approach in practice.
Experience in building and leading organizations with multiple teams (30+) and managing a team of first line managers.
Demonstrated ability to build teams of top engineers and managers in a competitive job market.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the capacity to clearly and effectively communicate complex concepts and their influence/impact to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong customer empathy and demonstrated engagement with customers and partners to truly delight users.
What You'll Be Doing
Technical Leadership: Lead a team of managers and engineers in designing, building, and maintaining core capabilities of Adobe Target.
Strategic Leadership: Drive the evolution of Adobe Target toward a world where AI/ML is an integral part and heavily influencing the growth of the product and the value realized by our customers. Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Define and Maintain the best Engineering practices: Drive technical excellence, operational maturity, and code quality within your team. Up-to-date with any emerging trends to adjust the organization to always utilize the best Data, ML, and Engineering practices.
Talent Scouting and Training: Attract, recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing group with the right mix of skills to support the AI/ML, data, and operational excellence needs. Work closely with teams and managers across Adobe, in different geographies.
