Growth Platform Software Engineer

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of practical experience delivering Web products
• Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life cycle, source control tools
• Working background with Node.js and frameworks such as express.js, nest.js or koa.js

Nice to Haves

• Good understanding of cloud-based architectures (preferably on AWS)
• Knowledgeable of infrastructure-as-code tools and build tools
• Experience in agile software development setups
• Be quality and performance oriented above all
• Eagerness to learn new concepts and innovative technologies
• Be proficient in English, both in speaking and writing

What you'll be doing

• Develop qualitative code in an agile manner with a high focus on finding better solutions for our customers’ needs
• Perform code reviews to ensure that features are efficiently implemented and maintainable
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, sprint review and retrospective to clarify requirements and shape the product's roadmap
• Cultivate and enhance the organization's DevOps culture and mindset
• Identify performance bottlenecks and address them
