Cloud Engineer

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability in full-stack development and system administration
• Experience in Linux system administration, particularly with RedHat variants
• Solid knowledge of and experience with common Internet protocols, in particular, DNS and DHCP
• Solid experience in running and operating services in private datacenter and public cloud (AWS and Azure)
• Experience running business-critical services at scale
• Expertise with Python, and modern software development methodologies
• Proficiency with API design and development using modern API frameworks
• Experience with relational databases and database design, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform)
• Experience with configuration management concepts and tooling, particularly SaltStack
• Experience with monitoring and observability, particularly Prometheus
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Solid written and oral communication skills

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Go
• Experience with Infoblox
• Experience with React frontend development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies
• Experience with ServiceNow development

What you'll be doing:

• Work with a team of Cloud Engineers in the Network Engineering organization, running and developing foundational, high-scale, business-critical services used by Adobe products, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• Participate in a regular on-call rotation
• Help run the day-to-day operation of these services ensuring reliable service delivery
• Help to design, build, deploy, and run the next generation of these services
• Regularly interact with internal customers, to understand their needs, enable their success, and incorporate their feedback into service improvement
• Work with smart people all over the world to help ensure the success of Adobe products and services!
