Software Development Engineer

Requirements

• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or TypeScript, with strong coding skills.
• Previous experience with WebAssembly, React, Web Components, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are pluses.
• Expert knowledge of web and browser technologies: HTTP/s, cookies, security, cross-site scripting, rendering engines, browser storage.
• Familiarity with widely used AI/ML frameworks, large language models, and AI agents.
• Ability to craft and implement scalable solutions, make architectural decisions, and simplify complex requirements and designs.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them to solve complex problems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Customer-focused with a real passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive key initiatives from conception to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Develop and optimize web applications using C++ or TypeScript.
• Explore and integrate advanced web technologies such as Web Workers, WebAssembly, React, and Web Components to improve application performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of graphics components.
• Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance optimization.
• Partner with fellow engineers and partners on the design and development of solutions and integrations.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical leadership within our team and act as a mentor to more junior engineers.
• Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs, and creative problem-solving.
• Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team.
• Grow with the support of the team and help others grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.
• Connect with customers to understand their needs and implement personalized solutions that align with business objectives.
