Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
A number of years experience working on production systems
Valuable experience working with OO design/principles
Must have experience working with scalable system architectures, ideally cloud-based
Experience in a variety of modern programming languages (Java, Golang, and/or Python) and open-source technologies

Nice to Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals
Tenured experience with hands-on software development
Deep understanding of software development in a team and a track record of shipping quality software on time
Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
Excellence in technical communication with peers and remote teams, both technical and non-technical
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
