Requirements

PhD degree in CS/Mathematics, ideally with a focus on imaging, computer vision or machine learning
Extensive research and practical experience in developing algorithms for image processing
Possess an understanding and have experience in productizing or publishing research results in fields such as: Image processing, depth/disparity estimation, optical flow, object tracking, image registration, alpha matting, Bayesian statistics, generative models, deep learning
Excellent programming skills

Nice to Haves

Experience with Swift or Objective-C
Practical experience with Core Image, Metal or other GPU image processing technologies
An understanding of colour science
A deep understanding of and experience with photography or videography
Relevant industry experience
Fundamental understanding of camera systems and sensors
Experience with developing for Apple platforms
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An ability to devise and understand mathematical solutions to image processing problems
