Principal Frontend SWE

Requirements:

• Experience with Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSS and modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue).
• Understanding of modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
• Extensive experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai).
• Comfort with the JavaScript language and ecosystem.
• Experience building frontend applications at scale.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
• Experience mentoring more junior engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Understand the user journey and funnel to enhance Jira Align product strategy.
• Guide technical direction for implementing large-scale product features.
• Debug team inefficiencies and deliver well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and bug fixes focusing on security and performance.
• Mentor teammates to improve their skills and the overall growth of the engineering team.
