Software Development Engineer, Load Balancing

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Demonstrating continuous improvement in knowledge about Amazon’s business and relevant technologies
• Working on a leadership role in the team, driving best practices and contributing to the design and architecture of load balancing management systems
• Designing and implementing software systems supporting a scalable, robust, virtualized network
• Troubleshooting and fixing operational problems, automating troubleshooting procedures, and collaborating with customers
