Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems, with deep expertise in kernel development and OS internals (process scheduling, memory management, file systems, networking)
Proficient in programming with C++, Go, or Python
Proven track record of owning large functional areas in container orchestration and building production-grade cluster management systems at scale
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring team members, setting technical standards, and collaborating across teams
Strong ability to identify cross-functional gaps, express technical risks/tradeoffs, influence decisions, and drive resolutions
What you'll be doing:
Design, develop, and maintain a stable, high-performance Linux operating system optimized for the Kubernetes platform, along with the supporting cluster management system
Contribute to kernel development and performance tuning to enhance system scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Build high-performance tools and services using Go and Python to support infrastructure automation and diagnostics
Develop BPF-based tools for in-depth OS diagnostics and implement Cilium/BPF-based network segmentation and service mesh solutions
Champion engineering excellence in observability, security, and performance
Influence adoption of optimized solutions across functional teams and mentor team members
