Software Development Engineer, Aurora Control Plane

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

What You'll Be Doing

• Building hyper-scale database services in the cloud with the AWS Aurora Developer Experience (DEX) team
• Providing capabilities to improve customer developers’ productivity
• Contribute to RDS Console and drive Aurora-specific console improvements
