Software Development Engineer, Core Network

Requirements

• Background as a professional software engineer, working collaboratively on large scale systems
• Experience designing solutions and architecting code from scratch
• History of applying continuous improvement and best practices in software engineering

Nice to Haves

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or other STEM subjects
• Experience with python or java preferred, other languages beneficial
• Practical understanding of network fundamentals and systems engineering
• Experience with cloud services on AWS or other platforms

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with internal customers on designs/solutions and bring them from concept to production
• Develop and support software services and tooling for managing the AWS network
• Continuous process improvement and implementation of engineering best practices
• Support software through shared on-call rotation
