Kernel/Hypervisor Engineer, EC2 Deep Learning Accelerators

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting of new and existing systems
• Experience in C/C++
• 3+ years of experience in using the typical Linux command line toolbox

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle
• Experience working on the kernel or virtualization space
• Proficient in at least one CPU architecture such as x86 or ARM
• Understanding of operating systems internals

What You'll Be Doing

• Take end to end ownership of the software development life cycle
• Drive operational excellence and quality improvement
• Influence and contribute to the technological roadmap
• Work collaboratively with other EC2 teams
• Participate in On-call responsibilities to ensure system resilience
• Work with your manager and engineers to deliver on the roadmap
• Solve technical challenges impacting customers
