Staff Engineer - Agent Runtimes

Requirements:

• Significantly experienced software engineer with background in backend engineering (Go, Python, Rust, C++, etc.) and software performance optimization
• Strong experience of 10+ years creating and delivering on-premise/packaged solutions
• Experienced in leading large cross-team initiatives with focus on security, speed, and reliability
• Ability to bring best practices from software engineering and adapt them to specialized Agent requirements
• Strong communicator, especially on complex technical topics
• Enjoy mentoring and coaching other engineers

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and implement internal Agent libraries and frameworks for consistent user experience
• Develop and maintain core functionality for runtimes used by the Agent (Go, Python, etc.)
• Create core architectures for a small, fast, and composable Agent
• Solve complex cross-team projects/problems with multiple stakeholders
• Implement new approaches to reduce Agent footprint and increase performance
• Lead and guide other engineers in their growth and development
• Collaborate with partner teams to enhance Agent adoption and features
