Staff Engineer - Agent Runtimes

Requirements:

• You are a significantly experienced software engineer with a background in backend engineering (Go, Python, Rust, C++, etc.) and software performance optimization.
• Strong experience of 10y+ (at least) in creating and delivering on-premise/packaged solutions with a high-performance and customer-centric approach.
• Experience leading large cross-team initiatives with a focus on security, speed, and reliability.
• Bring best practices from the world of software engineering and adapt them to the Agent.
• Strong communicator, especially on complex technical topics.
• Enjoy mentoring and coaching other engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and implement internal Agent libraries and frameworks for consistent user experience.
• Develop and maintain core functionality for runtimes used by the Agent.
• Investigate, develop, and maintain core architectures for a small, fast, and composable Agent.
• Solve complex cross-team projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Implement approaches to reduce Agent footprint and improve performance.
• Lead and guide other engineers in their growth and development.
• Collaborate with partner teams integrating and depending on the Agent.
• Support Agent adoption and feature set growth.
