Senior Software Engineer - Windows Products

Requirements

• You have been building applications and tooling for 5+ years
• Experience building and shipping software on Windows
• Significant systems programming experience with the Windows API
• Strong Windows OS internals knowledge
• Experience in Golang, C/C++, or Python
• Experience with Event Tracing for Windows (ETW)
• Proven ability to deliver features in a high-growth environment
• Passionate about technology and solving customer problems

Nice to Haves

• Experience creating Windows drivers
• Experience creating MSI installers
• Experience with native SDKs for macOS and cross-platform software

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and share ownership of Windows Agent-based integrations
• Build platform-specific features for Datadog Products on Windows
• Develop and maintain Windows Agent MSI Installers
• Own new feature development end-to-end
• Participate in product decisions and project planning
• Investigate performance bottlenecks and write optimized software
