Software Engineer, New Grad

Requirements

• Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software
• Experience writing web-based applications in any language
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with web architecture at scale (20krpm and above)
• Experience with "NoSQL" data backends and other databases
• Experience solving logistical problems with software
• Authorized to work in the U.K.
• Graduated within the last year

What You'll Be Doing

• Improve code structure, impact architecture, and review code of any scope
• Simplify maintenance and operation of production systems
• Lead technical execution and collaborate with other engineering teams
• Own larger pieces of work, assist with design, and influence the roadmap
• Participate in the hiring process and conduct engineering interviews
• Support personal growth of colleagues and mentor as needed
