Data Engineer - Search and Recommendations (all genders)

Requirements

• Good understanding of Python and its ecosystem, especially oriented to data science and Machine Learning.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling and solid experience in doing data analysis and transformations with SQL.
• Experience with big data infrastructure on GCP or AWS.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with machine learning models including deep learning applications and platforms such as Pytorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
• Knowledge of Java / Scala and Spark / Flink is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, building, and managing batch and streaming data pipelines to enable training and running of machine learning models with a focus on quality, scalability and stability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that solve real customer problems.
• Developing measures of data and model quality, and automated tests of the quality of data-powered features.
• Navigating various data sources and efficiently locating data in a complex data ecosystem.
