Requirements

Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and solid experience in doing data analysis and transformations with SQL
Experience with big data infrastructure on GCP or AWS
Experience with our tech stack or similar tools: Git, Airflow, Python, SQL, BigQuery
Experience with pipeline and workflow management tools
Love to learn and constantly improve your own skills and are not afraid to jump into new things
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and able to present thoughts in a clear and structured manner

Nice to Have

Work together with data analysts, product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists in cross-functional projects to develop the data solution
Advocate data engineering best practices and design principles in our engineering teams
Ensure that we have a performant and efficient data access layer in our applications
Perform ongoing reviews of our application code and database queries to improve software performance
Review database queries and storage strategies
