Data Analyst - Data Visualisation Squad

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience as a BI/Data Analyst working for internet companies
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering)
• Proficient in SQL
• Practical experience with big data tools (e.g. Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with version control systems (VCS) (e.g. Github)
• Creative in data visualization (Tableau experience is a plus)
• Passionate about data, with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Independent and rigorous working style
• Team player with a creative mindset
• Ability to understand business challenges and stakeholders' needs
• Good English communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Strong business understanding in e-commerce or related industries
• Experience in dealing with stakeholders and challenging project scopes
• Proven records in adopting and improving team standards and processes
• Experience with other languages and tools for data manipulation, analysis, and plotting (R, Pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy...)

• Engage with local and global teams to understand business visions and translate into data products
• Refine, challenge, and support requests from stakeholders
• Analyze trends in data and provide insights to improve operations
• Identify future insight and data needs
• Improve existing procedures and advocate for quality improvements
• Collaborate with other data analysts, engineers, and product owners
