Engineer II (Python) - Quick Commerce

Requirements

• Python hands-on expertise
• Knowledge of experience in working agile methodologies
• Solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design)
• Ability to work in a UNIX-like environment
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
• Ability to work independently and taking ownership beyond deployment
• Experience with orchestration using Kubernetes
• Familiar with common CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker, Github
• Familiar with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools such as Prometheus, DataDog, ELK stack, distributed tracing
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have

• Building, maintaining & running a high traffic system in a microservice environment
• Familiar with communication between microservices best practices
• Familiar with gRPC
• Superior knowledge in relational databases (ACID, isolation & index types, storage engines)
• Professional experience of cloud platform hosting via AWS / GCP as well via terraform / cloud formation / helm
