Snr Front-end Engineer - React / Node.js

Requirements

• Significant commercial experience
• Passion working with:
  • React
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • Testing frameworks (such as Playwright and Jest)
• Experience with:
  • Monitoring the health of your applications in production
  • Accessibility-minded experiences
  • Developing and using enterprise APIs
  • Working in a continuous delivery environment

  • Grafana
  • Prometheus

• Experience working in:
  • An eCommerce organization
  • A shipping/logistics/exports organization

Responsibilities

• Extending React / Node.js based applications, including using or writing internal APIs
• Architecting front-end applications that are secure, maintainable, extensible, and can meet the demands of eBay’s scale
• Supporting applications in production, including setting up & maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Helping teammates grow & influence other teams through collaboration
• Assisting in researching, scoping, and planning new platform capabilities
• Improving application quality and increasing deployment speed
• Effectively communicating progress to team members, manager, and wider eBay colleagues
