Staff Backend Engineer, SSCS: Authentication

Requirements:

• Considerable professional experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience in a scaling or mission critical SaaS product
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies or techniques such as SAML, SSO, SCIM, LDAP, RBAC, or IAM
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex problems and solutions
• Experience with performance and optimization problems
• Comfort working in a highly agile software development process

What you'll be doing:

• Contribute to the overall direction of the team and drive future roadmap direction
• Expand various authentication strategies into the product
• Help develop fine-grained access control and user management
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
• Help define and improve internal standards for a high-scale web environment
• Represent company values in public communication
• Ship features and improvements with guidance and collaborate on larger projects
