Asset & Wealth Management - Birmingham - Associate - Software Engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
• Understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a global team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Be Doing

• In Wealth Management, helping clients pursue their wealth management goals through careful advice & astute investment management
• Wealth Management Engineering: building tools and applications for effective client management and support
• Supporting the entire user experience from onboarding through maintenance, transfers, and online portfolio access
• Looking for strong engineers with expertise in AWS and CFT or a strong willingness to upskill and learn cloud technologies
