Java Software Engineer - Securities Lending Technology - Analyst/Associate - Warsaw

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with programming, preferably in Java software development
• Experience in designing and developing microservices
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Nice to Haves

• Understanding of real-time systems and messaging infrastructures (e.g. Kafka)
• Experience with microservices architecture and runtime containers (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience in building mission critical and highly available systems
• Experience of end-to-end design and implementation of software products
• JavaScript / TypeScript experience with React
• Experience with NoSQL databases (SingleStore, MemSQL, MongoDB)
• Finance, Securities Lending and Equities knowledge is a strong plus

• Work closely with the Trading Desk and colleagues both locally and globally to design, build, test, and deliver revenue generating technical solutions
• Partner with Traders to solve complex problems and deliver business value
• Help to build the short-term growth and long-term vision for our complex and fast-moving technical platform strategies
