Transaction Banking - Software Engineering - Associate - London

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving programming or systems engineering
• Proficiency in development with Java, SpringBoot, REST APIs
• Proficiency with algorithms, data structures, and software design
• Experience working with databases – NoSQL and/or Relational
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and often multi-direction work environment
• Experience working on high availability, mission-critical systems

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Microservice architectures and REST API
• Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, React
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (Dynamo/Mongo DB)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Transaction Banking, Payment domain is plus
• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
• Practical experience with containers
• Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban)
• Open API Familiarity with experience in building external API using REST and Webhooks
