Software Engineer II, YouTube Shopping Creator Inspiration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Typescript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with YouTube infrastructure (YouTube Studio).
• A passion for, and knowledge of design systems, design system frameworks, UI design and development tools.

What you'll be doing:

• Be responsible for designing and implementing exciting features that inspire creators, such as the affiliate hub which aspires to help creators understand what products are relevant for their audiences.
• Work as a part of a great team focusing on one of the strategic YouTube Projects, collaborating with a multitude of teams across all of YouTube.
