Data Center Energy Strategic Negotiator

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience leading energy transaction structuring and negotiations, utility procurement, energy project development or finance/consulting roles.
• Experience in European power markets or carbon-free energy technologies.

Nice to haves:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Experience structuring and negotiating 24/7 carbon-free-energy transactions.
• Experience with off-grid solutions for electricity generation.
• Experience with energy supply onsite generation solutions or advanced technologies.
• Knowledge of European Transmission and Distribution Systems Operations or energy market operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead transaction negotiations and structuring for energy supply and related agreements.
• Set strategy for Google's energy procurement program.
• Perform analyses, develop recommendations based on modeling.
• Interface with agreement team members and cross-company partner teams.
• Develop and lead agreement approvals and related materials.
