Software Engineer, Mobile, Android

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
• 2 years of experience in Java/Kotlin and data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Android app development principles and practices.

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience contributing to or working with the Android Open Source Project.
• Strong experience building user-facing applications and services with a focus on user experience and performance.

What you'll be doing:

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
