Software Engineer III, Frontend, GTI, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.

Nice to haves:

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with data visualization libraries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Familiarity with cyber-security concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features for Google Threat Intelligence (GIT) products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.
• Implement responsive and accessible web interfaces using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, optimizing performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
