Software Engineer III, Engineering Productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Python or Java, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 1 year of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).

Nice to Haves

• Experience in one or more of the following: developer infrastructure, software optimization and building testing tools.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write product or system development code.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Collaborate across engineering productivity and core to deliver common solutions for all users. Expand the infrastructure to work across devices (i.e., Android, iOS) and first-party/third-party apps.
• Develop and improve multi-device test automation infrastructures for the Wear platform.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
