Software Engineer III, Google Kubernetes Engine

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Go.

Nice to haves

• 2 years of experience working with cloud technologies with experience in VMWare, GCP.
• Experience with building AI and machine learning solutions, MLOps frameworks like Kubeflow, and leveraging specific machine learning architectures (e.g., deep learning, generative AI, forecasting etc.).
• Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, high performance, distributed systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage in and enhance the whole life-cycle of software development - design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables.
• Collaborate within and across teams and learn, work on cloud technologies designed for large scale, high performance and high reliability.
• Contribute to Google-internal, but also OSS projects.
