Software Engineer III, Vertex AI Search

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience coding with C++ or Go.

Nice to haves:

• Experience developing and deploying distributed systems software.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes development (Kubernetes Controllers, CRDs).
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and LLM concepts.
• Familiarity with Search platforms.

What you'll be doing:

• Implement and design Search features such as support for structured search, standalone grounding API, reranking of search results, etc.
• Work on Kubernetes-based infrastructure configuration for scalability and performance.
• Solve novel engineering issues using advanced GenAI capabilities.
