Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience working in mission critical facility maintenance and operations.
• Experience in Electrical Distribution Systems (e.g., High Voltage, Low Voltage, Protection and Controls, Power Quality).
• Experience in troubleshooting the Electrical Distribution Systems.

Nice to haves:

• Full driving license (EU valid).
• Experience planning and executing installation, commissioning, and equipment startup, following industry best practices and protocols.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical systems in data center environments and controls/monitoring systems.
• Excellent people management, and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize work efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

• Be responsible for the uptime, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage electrical system distribution.
• Develop approaches to reduce operational costs while improving efficiencies.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain data center facilities systems and equipment, and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure.
• Provide tracking and trending of operational characteristics, while also providing operational and maintenance insights into the design review process.
