Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Nice to Haves:

• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with Typescript/Javascript/Angular.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop, operate, and maintain the monitoring dashboards, offering out-of-the-box monitoring for every production service.
• Support improvements in monitoring performance, integration with Google Production Platform (GPP) solutions where relevant and personalization of the monitoring offering.
• Improve monitoring coverage for all Alphabet services and products throughout their life-cycle, supporting service builders (Software engineers (SWEs) and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs)) directly as well as partners in the monitoring ecosystem.
