Systems Development Engineer, Customer Deployments, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with systems automation, systems design and implementation, and technical infrastructure.
• Experience in TCP/IP, networking concepts, and infrastructure areas like Linux, Kubernetes, Networking, Storage, etc.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 2 security clearance (SÜ2).

Nice to haves:

• Experience as a Customer Solution Engineer.
• Scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.).
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or IT production systems.
• Understanding of physical server, storage, and network devices.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and customer empathy.

What you'll be doing:

• Troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day infrastructure issues.
• Collaborating with customers and internal development teams.
• Deploying solutions to various environments with training that may involve international travel.
• Training Google partners and supporting client deployments through on-call rotations.
