Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience leading projects.
- 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience in technical production infrastructure.
Nice to haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience working with C++, Go, or Python.
- Experience working with Gemini, Vertex AI platform, or AI-serving infrastructure and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Anthos, and observability tooling.
- Passion for building solutions that improve user experiences.
What you'll be doing
- Advocate and maintain a culture of reliability throughout the organization.
- Lead large, ambiguous problems and drive solutions across teams.
- Balance the need for a reliable system and efficient incident response.
- Maintain services' long-term health by monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLO).
- Mentor and train team members on design, coding, and reliability best practices.
