Data Center Technician II (Fixed-Term Contract)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with hardware and operating systems (e.g., Linux), and networking protocols.
• Must have the ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.
• Experience in working within a data center or networking operation center environment.
• Experience in project leadership and management.
• Ability to collaborate and partner with teams to resolve issues.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitor, maintain, and deploy the physical infrastructure behind Google's technology.
• Install and maintain switches, routers, and other networking gear.
• Diagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices.
• Support conditions for the servers to ensure optimal functionality and connectivity.
• Participate in primary/secondary on-call for the sites and work on 24/7 shifts if needed.
