Software Engineer III, Shopping Metrics and Exporting Platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development with C++, F1 and distributed computing.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure and Debugging.

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience dealing with complex datasets, including aspects like policy, access controls, data sharing, etc.

What you'll be doing:

• Build infrastructure supporting large scale, high throughput batch data processing (100s of PB) using C++, Flume, F1 Batch, Dreampipe.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Develop solutions for low latency interactive querying of data using technologies such as C++, F1 Query, Laelaps.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues.
