Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, testing, and launching complex software products.
5 years of experience with software design and architecture.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, including setting technical direction, owning design and architecture, mentoring engineers, and guiding project execution.

Nice to Haves

Experience in writing high-quality Go/Java/Python code.
Experience with API design, multi-tenancy, containerization, and security in cloud environments.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
Ability to produce clean, well thought out designs.

Own the overall design, architecture, and implementation strategies for AI Developer Platform, ensuring alignment with the mission to enhance developer productivity.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Partner teams to define the goals and drive the strategic roadmap.
Guide the team through technical choices, balancing short-term needs versus long-term strategic goals. Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies and approaches.
Establish and maintain high technical standards, ensuring code quality, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Set the technical direction, help plan deliverables and milestones and drive execution. Identify and proactively address technical issues and risks, and propose effective solutions to advance the team's velocity and impact on developer tooling.
