Data Center Facilities Technician I, Mechanical

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or Controls/Automation experience in an industrial/commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Experience in maintaining mechanical systems, safety systems, or building infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrades.
• Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot problems.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide assistance to senior technicians, read blueprints/schematics, and assess system performance.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of data center facilities systems and equipment.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment.
