Senior Software Engineer II, Backend

Requirements:

• Write and ship impactful production code that contributes to user satisfaction and company growth
• Design, build, and evaluate new features and tools to drive revenue and business growth
• Collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional team of engineers, PMs, designers, and researchers
• Work closely with different teams across HubSpot to ensure a seamless user experience
• Help SMBs achieve their goals through product enhancements
• Have backend development experience and are comfortable working with Java, MySQL, AWS, DropWizard, Kafka, Kubernetes or similar technologies
• Be deeply user-focused, empathetic, and passionate about AI
• Enjoy tackling technical challenges and business problems
• Collaborate well with others, take ownership of your work, and are eager to figure things out in an innovative environment
• Ability to solve complex technical problems, considering tradeoffs and balancing developer experience and business needs
