Software Engineer - Technical Leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
• Experience in mentoring/influencing senior engineers across organizations
• Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which shorter-term projects ladder to the long-term vision
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
• Significant programming experience
• Strong experience with building large-scale applications, or similar experience
• Experience with web or mobile technologies

• Drive technical strategy for company trajectory-altering problems
• Establish technical direction for new Privacy teams
• Accelerate ability to meet privacy commitments through novel technologies
• Partner and communicate with teams across Meta on privacy decisions
• Identify and execute opportunities for centralized tooling and systems
• Embrace a constantly evolving environment for operationalizing creative solutions
