Software Engineer - Gameplay - Developer Frameworks Tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6+ years experience building and shipping commercial 3D software in C/C++, C# or similar language
• 6+ years experience with either proprietary or commercial 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc)
• Experience in developing 3D pipelines, software within game development, or building interactive 3D products
• 2+ years experience in computer graphics, rendering, physics-based simulation, or games middleware/tooling

What You'll Be Doing

• Tech Lead a team of game play engineers with experience across Unity, Unreal, Spatial SDK, Web XR and Horizon World
• Deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area
• Communicate and show empathy to third party developers
• Design tools and core components for third party developers to use Meta APIs / SDKs
• Drive roadmap creation with your team and cross functional partners

Nice to Haves

• 5+ years of experience with Unity or Unreal engines
• 3+ years of experience with Tooling for game developers
