Senior Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Several years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and understand key business needs
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong industry experience collaborating on large scale technical problems

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
• Pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features with the right design and architecture
• Owning and delivering complete feature areas and solutions
• Show leadership in improving development practices
• Write clean, quality code with emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Responsible for reliable operation of features and early issue detection
• Adopt a data-driven approach in decision making and problem-solving
• Gain understanding of Microsoft businesses and contribute to end-to-end experiences
• Participate in an on-call rota
