Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience building and operating large-scale cloud services.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and DevOps of Teams services ensuring security, availability, and performance.
• Improve security of the services by implementing more secure communication protocols and design patterns.
• Contribute to design documents and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with team members residing in various parts of the globe.
• Ensure seamless and secure user journeys.
• Own the end-to-end experience from initial sign-in through advanced scenarios.
• Accelerate feature delivery and reliability.
• Drive rapid, data-driven rollout of new capabilities while maintaining stability.
• Define clear success metrics, monitor health, and continuously improve based on feedback.
• Cultivate Cross-Organizational Collaboration.
• Act as the central advocate for third-party developers aligning priorities and removing blockers.
