Senior AI Engineer - Poe (Remote)

Requirements:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours” (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 4+ years of experience writing Python
• Strong foundation in data structures, ML algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Proven track record of tech leading NLP/Search models to solve industry-scale problems
• Deep understanding of large language model APIs, prompt engineering, and LLM workflow design
• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field

Preferred Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience working on natural language processing, language modeling, etc.
• Experience with generative AI research and applications.
• Shipped Gen AI/ML systems in production - AI agent, RAG, etc
• Experience of transformer models and LLM applications
• Flexible and positive team player with outstanding interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining cutting-edge applied LLM projects
• Participate in a wide variety of Applied AI activities
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI
• Take end to end ownership of large and scalable machine learning systems
