Machine Learning Engineer, Ranking Platform

Requirements

• Languages: Go, Python, C++ or any object oriented programming language
• Libraries: Baseplate, GraphQL
• Databases: Redis, Postgres, Memcached
• Tools: Kubernetes, AWS
• At least 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement the next generation backend ML systems that power personalized feeds on Reddit
• Work closely with product and ML engineers
• Explore new technologies and best practices
• Champion engineering processes
• Write efficient, scalable and maintainable code

Nice to Haves

• Additional knowledge around GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, GRPC
• Experience designing and implementing performant API interfaces
• Familiar with software engineering best practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-directed
