Security Engineer II, Detection and Response

Requirements

• Experience and interest in security detection engineering and incident response
• Demonstrable understanding of developer concepts and technologies such as Github, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Ability to work in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

What You'll Be Doing

• Identifying new detection opportunities and building out signal collection
• Resolving solutions for monitoring, processing, and alerting on security signals
• Developing processes for prioritizing and responding to alerts
• Proactively identifying security threats and developing detections
• Participating in incident response to drive containment and remediation
• Working with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, and SOAR
• Rapidly prioritizing work based on business needs and risks
• Working in a flexible environment and being versatile
