Junior Backend Engineer, Content Platform

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or similar field
• 1+ years of experience in backend engineering
• Proficiency in Java and other languages like Python, Scala
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Comfortable with modern infrastructure and tools

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalability
• Build and operate infrastructure tools and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders at Spotify
• Take operational responsibility for the services owned by your team
• Continuously improve products through innovation and collaboration
